LuSo On Stage

LuSo On Stage

The Lutheran South Theater Arts Program is open to all students as a co-curricular activity. Students audition for acting and singing parts, but may also participate in set building, lighting, sound and musical accompaniment. LuSo OnStage performs at least two productions each year, including a play and a musical.

Being part of the theater program is a great way to improve your public speaking, build your confidence and make new friends.

LuSo Summer Stage

Every summer, LuSo OnStage directors and actors host Summer Stage for grade school students. Campers will learn a musical routine, including choreography, vocals, and face painting during this one-week, half-day camp.
Camp is taking an intermission this year, but will return next year with full-day options in our new theater!

Master Classes

We're proud to offer Master Classes for our students by partnering with a local theater production company. Throughout the summer, we hold camps for grade school and middle school students as well as workshops with local theater experts including directors, vocal coaches, and Broadway performers.

Join Our Productions

Have an idea for an upcoming production? Looking to join us on campus to share more about your stage performance experience and expertise? We want to hear from you. Hosting guests on campus to both inspire our students and perform together is often one of the most memorable experiences for students at Lutheran South.
