Graduation Requirements

Prepared Academically.

In order to graduate, our students are expected to be good stewards of their time and talents. In addition to completing required credits, students are required to:

  • earn a minimum of 27 credit hours 
  • maintain a minimum of 21 student hours each semester
  • complete the required Personal Finance course 
  • maintain a satisfactory attendance record
  • attend high school 8 full semesters
  • give evidence of Christian conduct and attitude
  • meet all financial obligations
The class of 2019 graduates were offered more than $9 million in scholarships and grants. The class accepted $3.5 million of the offered scholarships and grants to attend colleges and universities across the country. 

Graduation Minimum

Students must complete the following Course Credits, while taking a minimum of 21 Student Hours per semester.
  • 2.0 Theology
  • 4.0 English
  • 3.0 Math
  • 3.0 Science
  • 3.0 Social Science
  • 0.0 Foreign Language
  • 1.5 PE/Health
  • 1.0 Practical Art
  • 1.0 Fine Art
  • 1.0 Elements
  • 8.5 Electives
TOTAL: 27 CREDITS

*One full Credit toward the Elective total will be earned through completing all six required Elements in the area of Finance and Government.

Preparing for Selective Colleges

To prepare for admission to state and other selective colleges and universities, students should strive to complete the following Course Credits, while taking a minimum of 22 Student Hours per semester.
  • 2.0       Theology
  • 4.0       English
  • 3.0-4.0 Math
  • 3.0-4.0 Science
  • 3.0       Social Science
  • 2.0       Foreign Language
  • 1.5       PE/Health
  • 1.0       Practical Art
  • 1.0       Fine Art
  • 1.0       Elements
  • 6.5       Electives
TOTAL: 28 CREDITS

*One full Credit toward the Elective total will be earned through completing all six required Elements in the area of Finance and Government.

Preparing for Highly Selective Colleges
